Hey, I'm Kayla, and I'm in a band called A Drowning Memory :D. A lot of people say they're different than others or just like everyone else like they're some sort of myspace celeb, but I'll let you figure out on your own what I am. Don't judge me by the color of my skin but by the content of my character,and I am paraphrasing Martin Luther King there. It's not an option with me, it's a rule. I don't look at people and judge them before ever speaking to them, so I expect the same courtesy. If I don't receive that much from you, it shows what an ignorant oaf you really are. I may look "emo" in some of my pictures, but I'm not. Just because I'm from Texas doesn't mean I worship Bush or that I own horses and live on a farm. I hate farms. And I'm not a redneck. I like to consider myself a somewhat educated indivivual learning new things each day. I'm a Christian, not a doormat. I don't dish out crap, and I don't take it. You wanna be catty and rude, fine by me, I won't lower my eyes in shame and defeat. I'll look you right in the eye and tell you what I REALLY think of you, because lying is wrong. I don't care if you think I'm ugly, stupid, fat, or a whore. Like I said, get to know me before labeling me. Yeah, I'm heavy, but there are worse things to be, like an insecure judgemental person who's bent on making someone else feel bad about themselves.
I have 3 brothers and one amazing sister, Ana Alicia. She's a nut job, but she's the most amazing little sister a big sis could ask for. And I have the 3 most amazing lil bros. I love all of my family, inlcuding my parents and step-parents (Yes, even them! XD) I try to keep in contact with people who break my hearts romantically, because if you can get over past hurts, you will be better prepared for the one who ultimately steals your heart for good (your soulmate) I don't believe I have one, but I'm preparing just in case. You can never have too much character XD
hey i'm just commenting to let you (and anyone who reads this comment) that we just uploaded some live tracks recorded at a private show. the quality is a little iffy but hey, it works so why not.
also, we're gonna be getting some videos up soon along with a lot of other stuff. so yea. check it out and let us know what you think.
