My interests lie mostly in worship and the music that is being introduced in the church worldwide. I am concerned that the music expresses the love of God, the blood of Jesus and the Word of God. There is a lot of music out there and if it does not touch your heart then I just will not play it. I have written over 60 songs and would like to get them published. I also love taking photographs of people, places and flowers and hummingbirds. Every year the hummingbirds come out and I love watching them. They are such wonderful creatures. All of Gods creatures can teach us many lessons. I love to watch sunrises and sunsets and the beauty displayed is always a reminder of God's love for His creation.
I've joined this group because I've been a hugger for years. It started with Mom. She was always hugging us as kids. I did the same with all four of my boys and they too hug very well. So take a look at the group. You can add a blog if you like.
Music
Music: I was influenced early in my life with my dad playing jazz and classical music in the morning when I'd wake up. I took piano lessons for three years but learned chords when I'd sneak into the college music rooms and play their pianos. I had a burden to just play and play I did from that time until now. In one church, I started playing a keyboard and that's what I play now. I miss the piano. I wished I had that baby grand I once owned. I love listening to jazz, easy listening, classical, ballads, pop, some rap, rock, country, soul and Latin music. I use all types and styles in worship and Im constantly looking for more music.
I like Classical, Coplan, Leonard Bernstein, jazz, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, Dorsey Brothers, country, Dolly Parton, George Strait, Reba, Faith Hill, rock, the Beatles,U2, latin, pop, musicals, folk, broadway, alternative, contemporary worship including Michael W. Smith, Keith Green, Women of Faith, Rebecca St. James, Twila Paris, Mark Schultz, Aaron Shuste, Avalon
Movies
Movies: I love the new Pixar movies, Ice Age, Madagascar, The Wild, Cars. Ben Hur, Ten Commandments, Gospel According to Matthew, Steel Magnolias, Meet the Parents, RV,The Holiday, all Lord of the Rings movies, James Bond movies, Back to the Future, Sci-Fi movies,Star Wars,Independence Day,Armaggedon, documentaries,Discovery, National Geographic
Television
TV: Lately, I've been watching what my son watches, like Monday night football, the 70s show, documentaries, the history channel. With the latest massacre in Virginia, I keep my eyes on the news mostly CNN and Fox. Since most of the television shows have become so liberal, its hard to find many good programs except the older ones,Gilmore Girls is pretty good. Most of the programming endorses premarital sex, abortion, and a do not care attitude politically or civically. I am concerned about how the values have changed. I went to college during the Viet Nam era and things just started slipping since then..thanks my generation...I didn't smoke pot and didn't drink or go to parties and the Lord protected me through all of it.
Books
Books: the Bible, Cost of Discipleship, Ethics, TD Jakes books, Kenneth Copeland books, Kenneth Hagin books,Oral Robert's Daily Seed Faith, Hawaii, Helen Keller story, Diary of Ann Frank, several Maupassant short stories. I have written a book of poetry entitled "Little Impressions, Vol.1. My blogs contain several poems and please rate my poems that I already have submitted to poetry.com

The Lord Jesus Christ and my husband who showed integrity, honesty, love and commitment. There are so many I would honor including Greer Garson, Ronald Reagan, John Wayne, Eleanor Roosevelt, King David, Apostle Paul and John the Beloved. I can relate well with David, the Psalmist king. I love to write poetry and songs and one day they will be published.
I'm interested in producing songs I've written, mostly for worship and with many styles and beats like jazz, country, ballads, contemporary, pop and even latin.
I'm an avid photographer since I was nine and chronicle family gatherings and our lives together. Lately, hummingbirds, clouds and sunsets have caught my eye.
Seems like everyone that I send a birthday card to gets a little of my poetry. I've also written poetry regarding someone that has passed on. There is a lot of healing that can be released by remembering those we've loved.

About me..I am 62 and a widow. My husband passed away 5 years ago from cancer. I have four sons, Steven an artist by vocation, Matt, working in construction and a musician, Michael, an artist and musician and Daniel who now lives in Phoenix and going to school at Maricopa Skill Center. He also plays guitar.
My heart is set to music all the time. I have been in worship for over forty years and love being able to introduce all the new contemporary music to the team. I attend a wonderful non-denominational church in Gallup which is well known for its dramatic productions and skits. As a worship leader, my job has also been to mentor new leadership and hopefully this year there will be one man that will be taking up the reigns.
My parents passed away back in 1994 and 1995 but their upbringing contributed to my discipline in music and the arts. My dad was a jazz musician and my mom sang on radio stations before they met. With two other sisters, my life was surrounded by music, mostly jazz and classics.
You can enter daily at Better Homes and Garden until November, I think. Anyway, go ahead and play. You might win instantly.
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet Christian men and women that love the Lord who are also musicians, artists and involved in drama, writing, poetry and song writing. I also would love to have more friends in my life and this my space has given me that opportunity.
May you and yours be blessed in your comings and goings as you truly repent of all carnality and walk the Sacred Blood and Path of Torah through Mashiach Yahushua which leads us straight unto our heavenly Abba of Lights with whom there is no shadow nor variableness of turning, and IN whom we find the FULLness as one.
Just thought I’d let you know I’ve been thinking of you So I thought I’d brighten up your day And bring a smile to you Praying God will touch your life In a more meaningful way And that you’ll feel the warmth of God Today and every day
