Katarzyna Glensk is a one of Polish most versatile and imaginative pianist specializing in solo and chamber music. She collaborates with many musicians as well as with cellist Evva Mizerska. She guests at the major leading concert halls in Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Greece, Czech Republic and Poland.
Katarzyna has graduated with high distinction from the Frederic Chopin Academy in Warsaw in the class of prof. Bronislawa Kawalla and prof. Jan Ekier. She awarded a bursary at Dartington Summer Music School and full scholarship for postgraduate studies at Trinity College of Music in London. She has attended number of masterclases led by many distinguished performers i.e. Douglas Finch, Richard Markson, Yonty Solomon and Maja Nosowska.
The artist has won plenty of awards at following competitions: 1st prize at VIII International L. Janacek Competition in Brno, 1st prize at The Chopin Prize in London, 1st prize at L. Smith Duo Prize in London and 2nd prize at E. Schumann Duo Prize for Lieder in London.
She collaborated with Warsaw Philharmonic, Opole Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and recently she plays regular Chopin concerts in Royal Lazienki in Warsaw with the cooperation with Polish Landscape.
