Kanvus is a 5 piece San Francisco jam-band styling in rock, blues, funk, and folk fusions. They combine high dosage jams with expressive lyrics to create a contagious sound, packed with energy and positive vibe.
Kanvus began in the Spring of 2007 and has quickly become the new San Francisco flavor for the jam scene. Each member of Kanvus brings a lively link to the groove chain. In the past year they have shared the stage with the New Mastersounds, Perpetual Groove, SambaDa, RAQ, and New Monsoon to name a few. They are growing at a rapid rate and look forward to being at a venue near you real soon.
