About me:
I like boys and girls with strong convictions
and convicts with perfect diction
underdogs with good intentions
amputees with stamp collections
haha yeah. Blues is a very good genre. Many good artists...Robert Johnson, B.B. King, Blind Willie Johnson, Howlin' Wolfe and Muddy Waters. I could go on haha.
LA is expensive as hell for the most part. If you really want to do it, though, stick your mind to it and you'll be able to eventually. Too many people for me, personally. Haha.
I'll be going to UCR. Close enough for me to commute, but everyone who knows me knows I've been dying to get out of this house forever. Haha. My hard work in high school really did pay off, actually. I'm actually a sophomore already. AP tests saved a ton of money. Haha.
I move in on September 21st, and my classes start on September 25th. I'm very much looking forward to moving out, and dare I say I'm actually looking forward to my classes, too. I have a pretty cool schedule for my first quarter--psychology, sociology, and philosophy. It's going to be a very intellectual quarter.
Yeah, I've never really thought it's too particularly healthy to constantly be doing something social. I don't know about other people, but I tend to like some alone time to just reflect on life and all of its goings-on from time to time.
Quite true, quite true. Luckily things are changing for the better though, that is much better than us all just sitting on our asses and not doing anything at all.
While this is true for many people, I'd prefer for there to be no offshore drilling, I think we really should have just researched alternative energies LONGGG ago and put them into effect or try.
But it's hard to say many people would do the same as you would.
Yeah, that's fine. I'll just be sitting around here trying to find another job. Just give me some warning before you come over, because sometimes I'll be blasting music or playing guitar in my room to the point that I can't hear the door bell.
Well, I don't work anywhere now... I worked at UPS until tonight. I had to quit. I was loading boxes up to 150 pounds into trailers, and repeated heavy lifting made my hernia go crazy (which hurts like hell, I might add). I tried to get transferred to small sort today so I wasn't doing really heavy lifting, but they told me I couldn't transfer for 6 months. My options were to deal with intense pain 5 days a week for 6 months, go on disability, or quit. I pretty much had to quit. Disability wouldn't have done anything for me.
I work 5:00 to 11:00 P.M. on Monday through Friday, so you can pick them up any time that doesn't conflict with that (assuming I still work there after today).
Haha, I never did get a comment back from you until now. I've never read any Bukowski, but I've heard countless good things about him. Perhaps I'll look into reading some of his stuff when I get the chance. Any suggestions on where I should start? Oh, and I read your bulletin about computer speakers, too, and I believe I may have some if you still need them.
