I play guitar in a damn good band: Star Anna & the Laughing Dogs. When I'm not busy earning my spot with that group, I write and sing some songs of my own. I've posted some rough recordings here and I hope to get some higher quality recordings up as soon as my life slows down a bit. Should be soon....
Sweet, i'll go check her out. The bass is doing fine, I like to think that my rhythms have improved...I've been practicing though! No, no new band, I'm trying to get Bryn to jam with me, but her parents are fixing up the basement to make her a new practice space so we'll have to wait till that's done, but it should be pretty nice so we're excited to see how we flow as a rhythmic duo!! lol. How is your band doing?
It was awesome to be at your show! I didn't know how much fun bumbershoot was otherwise i would have gone every year. I've been able to get further on my acoustic than my electric. I'm trying to figure out the symbols & i have several books that have helped, but there's a lot to learn!
Sorry , dont go online that much.... Im sure u have heard from him... right?? I ll tell that dork to call ya!!! Hope yall are doing good an likes the new crib!! take it easy sweeties!
Need your address. I will be down there with Thursday night the 14th and 15th possibly with Raven. Why didn't you call yesterday ass? Just because I don't keep up with contact doesn't mean you have to. There can't be two of me.
Hey Justin Great show at the Mix last night (I'm guessing). Nice almost seeing you play! Seriously - good to see you & Shane - look forward to hearing your new tunes some time. See ya soon, Bob
We've (Hurricane Chaser) got one show coming up on July 20. Playing an early Sunday show at the Comet, It'll be our first gig. Pretty much just been rehearsing and recording since forming.
Agree too on the guitar tones, Brad's got a good ear and technique for that stuff...but just wait until the full length is done. It'll be a revolution in guitar tone! :)
And funny, you're the second person today who's made that Trey vocal comparison. Hadn't noticed before, but now it makes total sense.
Have fun down in Fremont today. Won't be making it, but talked to PA today about heading to the Tractor. I know I'll be at that one, and looks like PA is up for the adventure as well.
