Band Bio:

My Yard Is Junkyard (debut-album 2006) won instant international recognition. The unique “Junkyard Productions-sound” lead to remixing and co-writing with All Saints(UK) and Junkyard Productions being licensed for various compilations in Europe and USA.

Junkyard Productions is an experienced and powerful liveband

Junkyard Productions is based in Denmark. They played their first gig in February 2002, and have been playing live on a regular basis since then, visiting Denmark's major venues. In jan 2007 they performed for one thousand people headlining at the Radio Nova show at La Bellevilloise. The show was transmitted live on Radio Nova. In July 2007 they performed at Roskilde Festival, the biggest festival in Scandinavia.

Meanwhile Junkyard Productions have been perfecting their style and songwriting in the studio. The main influence is olskool Jamaican dub as well as the modern dub sound from Berlin.

The track Sister Let Him Go was released in October 2005 on Murena Records as a 12". The track had massive airplay on DR P3 (Danish national radio) and on French Radio Nova, and has been licensed for various compilations. Junkyard Productions' debut-album "My Yard Is A Junkyard", was released September 2006. The “Junkyard-sound” has won international recognition, as Junkyard have been remixing the All Saints single "Rocksteady" and Slow Train Soul among others.

Founder of Junkyard Productions is Rasmus Allin. He has recently written a couple of tracks with Shaznay Lewis from All Saints(UK). Christian is an accomplished drummer. His greatest contribution to the band, beside his drumming and good ears for mixing the tracks, is his anarchistic sense of humor and spontaneity. Dennis is an amazingly powerful bass-player. Ena is an experienced and skilled singer, who has done a wide variety of styles such as jazz, soul, pop and also acid-jazz infused with hiphop. MC Pops Jabu has been living in South Africa, Zimbabwe and London, before he settled down in Denmark. Doing his thing live he can tear the roof of any venue.
