After 20 years, 11 albums, and countless shows under her belt, Katie Logan - a.k.a. Jumpin' Kate - is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and all around entertainer who has become a familiar name in the Las Vegas music scene. With a soaring voice, unforgettable original songs and boundless energy, she continues to win over audiences whether she's performing solo or with her band. Known as the "Matriarch of Rock" in her former hometown of Lincoln, Ne, Kate loves to entertain.
Kate's band, Jumpin' Kate and the Vegas Ramblers, perform classic and contemporary rock and country, as well as reggae, blues, Irish, and originals. These premiere pickers sport a driving rhythm section topped by Kate's powerful vocals, belting out favorite hits from Janis Joplin to Patsy Cline, Heart to Stevie Nicks, and Pat Benetar to Led Zepplin.
Performing at venues such as the legendary Stardust, the House of Blues, Toby Keith's bar at Harrah's and Jimmy Buffet's restaurant at the Flamingo, Her act is always fun, with a little kitsch, ie: AC/DC>add feather boa<. Her dynamic stage presence is evidenced in the upbeat music and the easy rapport with audiences, and of course that jumpin' energy, therefore the well- deserved nickname.
Whether performing solo or with a band, Kate wants everyone to experience good times, good music, and the positive energy that keeps audiences coming back. Become a part of her next opportunity to do so.
