Books
It's impossible to list all the authors whose books I love. I guess I'd have to break it down into categories, starting with personal friends. There's my emails pals: Jacquie D'Allessandro, Julia London, Virginia Henley, Marsha Canham, Kathleen Givens, Sherri Erwin, Connie Brockway, and Jill Gregory. My buds who stuck with me through the early trenches and beyond: Cindi Myers, Robyn DeHart, Emily McKay, and Kit Frazier, as well as Julie Kenner and Dee Davis.
Then there are the authors I don't know personally but love to read: Nora Roberts, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Jennifer Crusie, Suzanne Brockmann, Linda Howard, Lisa Klaypas, Sherrilyn Kenyon...dang, I know I'm forgetting a ton.
Some of my all time old favorite books include works by Judith McNaught, Jude Deveraux, Jayne Ann Krentz / Amanda Quick, Judith Ivory, Johanna Lindsey, Elizabeth Lowell, Laura Kinsale, Joan Wolf, Anita Mills, Pamela Morsi, Fayrene Preston, and LyVyrle Spencer. (Again, I know I'm missing several.)
There are so many wonderful books and talented authors, how does one narrow it down to a single list? Oh well, I'll keep working at it and adding to it. In the meantime...
About me:
I'm first and foremost a romance novel fan. That's why I started writing romance novels. I love reading stories where people go after their dreams, triumph against all odds, and find love along the way.
A sultry singer and a straight-laced lawyer go toe-to-toe over the fate of an old dance hall in the quirky town of Hope, Texas. To save the hall, they must uncover a family scandal about a prohibition-era bank robbery while fighting passions from their own past that prove unforgettable.

Julie, Thanks for your comment on my cover. Yours is gorgeous, too! I remember a time when there weren't many covers with a lot of black on them, but it seems the cover folks are realizing how "eye-catching" black can be. :-)
