Originally formed in Denver in the mid 1980s, several of the founding members joined Walt Conley to form Conley & Company. With Walt's untimely death in Novemver 2003, Bill O'Donnell, Michael Kent and Tony McAleavey reformed Juice O'The Barley. Tony McAleavey has retired and we are now joined by Kelly O'Dea on fiddle, and Robert MacLean on banjo and mandolin.
The Juice continues a long tradition of rousing pub music. Whether singing songs of rebellion, drinking, love or emigration, the audience can expect a raucous night of hand-clapping, foot-stomping, and audience sing-alongs. The music is in the tradition of the Clancy Brothers, The Dubliners, The Pogues, and other contemporary Irish musicians and groups.
