About Josiah James(Free Show this Friday in Sacramento!)
Josiah James is an independent Musician/Song Writer from the far reaches of Northern California in the Sacramento area. When he started writing songs at the age of 10 his calling was soon apparent. At the age of 14 Josiah picked up the last instrument he though he would: A guitar. By the age of 16 he had recorded his first full length cd, "Alive In The Studio" and by 18 a 6 song EP entitled "Awaiting The Morning".
Josiah James is a Christian Artist who's hope is to share with people about his faith and what he knows to be true through his music, and that truth is Jesus Christ and His love for us.
Recently Josiah has come out with his second studio release, "Awaiting The Morning". "ATM" is and EP filled with live acoustic performances, recorded by Danny Donnely(Scott Cunningham, Sherri Youngward) and the full band single "Reaching For The Stars", recorded by Pendlwood Studios(John Reuban, Spoken,). The 6 song EP is just a glimpse of what's to come. Early 2009 the "awaiting" for a new album will be over and Josiah be releasing an EP entitled "The Morning Light" featuring all full band produced songs.
There are big things to come from this artist, so stayed tuned in and keeping checking back to his page for new, exciting updates.
