| General | I haven't yet outgrown my love of comic books; probably never will. Ditto on my Playstation 2 and my Wii. Going to the movies, hanging out with friends and family (I know, a real party animal. But it works for me.) :-) | | Music | My taste is all over the place. I love the Bee Gees, 80s metal, some country music, 80's new wave, almost anyone from Motown, the Beatles, what else....The Fray, The Killers, I'm finding myself into Rufus Wainwright lately. He has excellent songs, and I highly recommend checking him out. My IPod is a hodgepodge, so it's hard to narrow it down to any one style of music. | | Movies | This list is always growing, so the ones I can watch anytime they're on are: Shaun of the Dead, Mean Girls, Some Like It Hot, The Breakfast Club, Saturday Night Fever, Streetcar Named Desire, Soapdish, Good Night and Good Luck, Top Secret, Showgirls (for the sheer "so bad it's hilarious" value), Staying Alive (if you listen closely, you can actually hear John Travolta's career plummet and hit the ground in this movie). Like my taste in music, it's hard to say what will catch my eye next. | | Television | In no particular order: I Love Lucy, 30 Rock, Scrubs, Wonder Woman, Roseanne, Pushing Daisies, Heroes, My Name Is Earl, The Office, Fawlty Towers, Bewitched, Sports Night, Will and Grace, My So-Called Life, Carol Burnette Show, The Shield, Frasier, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, American Dreams, most 70s and 80s sitcoms. | | Books | I'm finding myself really enjoying Augusten Burroughs, so any of his books; A Million Little Pieces (if you can get past the whole lying scandal, it's a great read). All the Harry Potter books, the Tales of the City series, Three Junes, The Devil Wears Prada, Gilead, In Cold Blood, The Plot Against America. There's more but I can't think of them at the moment. | | Heroes | My family, and anyone who pursues his or her passion. I know, it's a little on the corny side; but it's also easier said than done. I can't help but admire anyone who makes their dreams happen. |

About me:
Let's see...I live in Queens, NY. I've only lived here for a few years now, but I love, love, love it! Paired off with my guy Jeff, we're both pretty easy-going homebody types. That's just how we roll! Occasional bits of my brain can be seen spilling out on my blog at web.mac.com/jonthomas12.
On the work front, I do voice-overs for...well, pretty much anything that needs an anonymous voice attached to it. :-) Commercials, video games, medical narrations, phone systems, weight-loss hypnosis tapes (seriously), give me a live mic and a script and I'm there. I also do imaging production for Sirius Satellite Radio. I love being creative, and it doesn't get much more creative than a medium where's there are no rules. Suffice it to say between this and the voice-overs, my work is never dull. I have a website outside of here, and it's www.JonThomasVO.com. I'm also signed with the Access Talent Agency in New York City.

Who I'd like to meet:
I'm something of a workaholic, and I love talking to other people in the same line of work as me, and possibly do a little networking. But, I'm always open to chatting with new people who have the same interests as I do. MySpace is new territory for me, so I'm winging it right now.
