Let's see, what's interesting about me? Hmm. Okay, I started singing when I was 3. Started playing piano and stuff around 5. I actually hated it for years. Not sure why, I'll just blame my teachers. I eventually got back into music after I turned 12. I went to a church camp and saw some guys leading worship on the guitar and I was like, "I want to do that!!!" So, I went some and started banging out hours of guitar everyday. And it all kind of started there.
I was homeschooled all through junior and senior high school. I graduated early - when I was 16. Then around that same time, my parents told me that we were going to move to Brazil for 2 years for missions, which actually ended up being 2 and a half years. Ask me about it sometime - it was CRAZY to say the least. And I typically love talking about it. I started college while I was in Brazil so I didn't lose any time. It was hard to find a fully accredited school they I could do remotely, but after a lot of searching, I found American InterContinental University. They are so awesome because they could ship books all the way to my door on the Equator! Imagine that. Anyway, I took an excellerate track - which is basically don't-have-any-breaks-for-the-whole-degree. And that's pretty much what I have done. But thankfully, after what seems like forever, I'm getting ready to graduate with my Bachelors in Business Administration in Management. Woohoo! What a long title. I love it!
I can't wait to be done, because then I can put more time toward my music - which is my ultimate passion. Creativity a beautiful avenue for expression. I feel like without music, I could never express myself properly - I would probably just explode. Putting all of this in the context of Jesus is the most amazing part. Everything that I do, and all that I am is focus around making it so that his glory and love can be shown through me. That's what it's all about for me. Nothing less, and nothing else - Jesus.
As far as plans are concerned, I currently worked as the Personal Assistant to the Pastor and Director of Worship Arts & Media at my church, Living Stones. I adore the job. It flat out rocks! My goal is to keep doing stuff with music and working in church for . . . hmm . . . forever would be cool. I'd love to do some more international traveling/missions for short term stuff. And, I really plan on being a millionaire someday. Let's see how all of that works out. Till then, message me, comment me, or even better yet, add one of my songs to your profile! Yea!
