Born in Toronto Canada, John Kelly Gannett grew up out of the musical heritage of his grandmother, a pop singer in Los Angeles during the 1950's. By age 16, John began composing classical music for the guitar. He received an award for outstanding musical achievement at age 17. John later studied songwriting under renowned gospel songwriter, Brian Deorksen, before working with Shania Twains former record producer, John Jamieson, for his first radio single released in Canada. Since moving to Nashville in 2003, John has co-written with pro-writers on Music Row, and performed regularly at the 'Bluebird Cafe' in Nashville and 'The Bitter End' in New York City. When he is asked about his sound, John quotes a former booking agent that described John's music as, "James Taylor meets John Denver". Not a comparison he minds at all.
What others have to say about Johns music:
Johns music moves me. I recently sat listening to John play and sing. I did not want to leave.
(Bart Herbison - Executive Director, Nashville Songwriters Association International)
Music that makes your heart feel good.
(Ralph Murphy - Vice President, ASCAP Nashville)
Some songwriters are blessed with talent. Some singers are as equally blessed. John has a double dose of each.
(Preshias Tomes - Columnist, Nashville Music Guide)

countryhouse Females are good at keeping things to themselves,an the one thing they dont't let out is that if your package is not big it doesen't make a difference to them it's how you use it.You and i both know thats pure hogwash,my buddy augustin that lives in palm beach where the sun and the women are hot.He told me about this stuff he got from augustin.grmlin.COM its these little white things you take and in a short time it aint so short no more if you know what im saying.SO i went to augustin.grmlin.COM to see for my self and got six bottles of the stuff.I told one of my best freinds what i got and he laughed at me but two months latter he was at augustin.grmlin.COM himself,he saw i put on two and a half inches and my girl freind well thats another story.I went to visit my bro augustin for spring break and i kid you not i had the time of my life.If i woulden't have went to augustin.grmlin.COM for myself and saw what it did for me,i woulden't have beleaved it.Take it from me you have nothing to loose and inches to gain and when you visit augustin.grmlin.COM they garentee it will work on eny man young or old or all your green back even the shiping so check it out you'll be glad you did.

And here is a word for the day:
"Whatever is true, whatever is noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. Whatever You have learned or received or heard from me or seen in me - put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." (Phil 4, 8-9).
As we are about to celebrate Easter, I wanted to send You the lyrics of a song I wrote a long time ago as a reminder of God´s unconditional love.
1. Consider how he loves you, consider how he cares
For there can´t be a greater love than to lay down your life for a friend
The wheel of history´s turning, as he forgives in pain
In meekness and humility there dies the son of man
Consider how he loves you, consider how he cares
He is a priceless treasure, not a billion words could explain
He´s called “a friend of sinners”, though he is pure in heart
If he was not a sinner´s friend, my friend he could not be
Consider how he loves you, consider how he cares
He is a God of mercy, amazing is his grace
With words of deep affection He is knocking at my door
That I might listen and adore the greatest friend of all

Ordinary Man is Extraordinary!!!
I sure loved seeing and hearing you at Second Saturday Sing in Elgin Illinois with your best Yankee friends! Your talent flows freely and draws you into worship with the King! What an awesome song! I loved the whole set you did: Ordinary Man, Miracles, and Somehow illustrate not only your love for good music, but your love for the Saviour. You are a tremendous witness to the power of God in us. Continue to walk with the King, and He will use you for His glory.
In Him,
Chris Shannon
