i was with my friend Jenn from Ohio, she lives in L.A. now but i know her from back in ohio... anyway, we were getting in my car and she hums under her breath "there's fog on the water..." and i said how do you know that?!!! and she said "it's joel p west, i've got it on my ipod" and then i said, yeah, but how did you get it? and it turns out she heard it on VB's myspace and then just bought the whole album on itunes - having no idea we know you personally. i loved it. it made me happy.

my favorite pic of the whole year is in the water album and its called "on the other side" its a picture of my friend tip toeing thru a puddle of water and the reflection is amazing. i used that negative ALOT that year haha.. but seriously you should really try to get ROP to sponser getting a dark room and SLR camera's for everybody becuz it was the best class i have ever taken and it taught me so much. i love the dark room, and all the different processes. you should talk to my photo teacher if you realy want to look into that... her names gina grossini and her emails ggrossini@guhsd.net shes totally chill.
