"Pingitore's spectacular guitar playing is packed with emotional authenticity. His guitar wails, laughs,screams....Pingitore doesn't say a thing. His Stratocaster does all the talking"
- The Kenosha News
"Next up was a young man from Kenosha named Joel Pingnitore, with his band Livin’ Will. At first, I was not overly impressed, but as soon as he started playing intricate riffs with the guitar BEHIND him, I started paying closer attention. Then he did a couple of Hendrix songs, and I couldn’t get his “ Voo Doo Child” open out of my head. I can’t wait to catch this band again!"
-Gabby Parsons Music Director WMMM-FM Madison,WI
"I guess this band is ultimately the greatest release I have ever been blessed with. These guys give me the rare opportunity to reach out and try to just brighten some ones day.
That means the world to me."
Joel Pingitore
Joel Pingitore, lead guitar player, was born in Kenosha, WI in 1981 to Debbie and Pete Pingitore. Joel has been playing guitar for approximately 15 years. "It's all I really ever wanted to do."
I was introduced to the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan in 1996 by my father, who managed to raise me listening to the
classic rock music of his youth. The love of music is our bond.
I faintly remember hounding my father to let me use his headphones, and needing help to use them.
Joel has always played Fender guitars, getting his first at age 10 from his parents. He has played guitar with a group called "Ground Wire", and played bass for an orchestra.
Tom Leeman, bass player and vocalist, moved from Milwaukee to Kenosha in 1972. His love of music started at home, influenced by his parents Bob and Mary Leeman.
Joel Brantmeier is the newest member and drummer. Joel began playing the drums at age nine, but found it as his passion in high school.
Classically trained by the Monroe High School music program, he played in garage bands, and
the jazz band provided and taught by Mr. Randy Schneeburger.
During the end, and after high school he played in the Huber Music Company, a jam band,
and then moved to Colorado, where he joined the band Night Owl a blues rock group, and put out
two records. After moving back from Colorado Joel sought more instruction from Mauro Magellan
a well known excellent drummer who had originally helped spur Joel’s interest in drumming.
Aside from instruction, Joel has kept busy playing/recording music with Bill Vientz and various
groups/musicians such as Tony Menzer, Jim Olshmidt, Dave Cox, The Crashers, The Soap Factory, The Buffalo Joe Band, The Love Bunglers, and others.
Great show at BAM!!! Love the new drummer. He's got skills. Keys were a nice addition. Nice chatting with you Joel. See you guys soon. Stay safe in your travels.
I missed the Aaron Hoo Doo jam you boys had. Dam! I also cannot find someone to work for me BAM Fest weekend. I am bumming big time!!! Can't you write an excuse to my boss that it is mandatory that I attend this event as it's essential to my health? Have a wonderful gig if I don't make it. Miss hearing your sounds.
