Born in Astoria, New York, and raised in South Florida, JOE HAND was introduced to music at the young age of 7. A standout high school musician, Joe played piano, electric bass, and woodwinds in many performing situations.
Joe was playing music professionally at age 15. He accompanied choirs, taught lessons, played in the school bands, performed classical concerts, played in community jazz bands, pit orchestras, church praise groups, and of course, his own rock band "Joe's Diner".
Joe graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston with a degree in Music Production. He spent the next few years with the rock group "The Paiges" before starting his solo career, releasing his first solo cd in 1994.
JOE HAND has recorded multiple CD projects with significant sales success, and has performed at numerous concert events inside and outside the USA.
JOE HAND and his wife, JeanAnn and their funny little dog, Boo, will be moving to Lady Lake Florida, Just north of Orlando. Joe has accepted a position as Director of Contemporary Worship with the North Lake Presbyterian Church. If you're ever in the area, come on out! you'll be glad you did.
