About me: Hello! My name is Mike Waters. Some people call me “Muddy” others just do not call. OK, you just figured out that my humor is lacking.
Just a bit about me…the bio type stuff: I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world (Wonder Woman Herself) Jennifer and God has entrusted us with three awesome children, Ashley, Camden and Cooper. We are your average American Family, average in more ways than we would like. Jennifer is a Registered (thanks for the heads up Jen) Nurse.
As the official nerd in our family, I enjoy reading and putting together websites. The problem with the website thing is I have none of the techie knowledge to build one from the ground up so I have to rely on WYSIWYG Editors. OK my nerd status is really beginning to show.
Why am I on MySpace? When you get right down to it I created my little area of space so I could vent every once and awhile. More than that, I hope to have the opportunity to share the most important person in history with you, Jesus Christ! No I am not going to hit you with the “Turn to Jesus and life will be roses” line because it will not! Christians are called to suffer in this life. We are called to sacrifice much so that Christ may be magnified. The fact is this: Christ matters! I do not! What I do want to share with you is this: There is a very real decision each of us must make: We either fall on our face and repent for being an enemy of God and accept His Substitutionary Sacrifice of Christ Crucified or we continue to live this life thinking it is all about us and spit in God’s Face with our arrogant rebellion. As you read this, which decision have you made? If it is rebellion then I beg you to consider the very real consequences you will face upon your death…HELL! We all deserve it. By Grace and Grace alone, some of us will enjoy the Gift of Eternal Life with God. Where will you be in 200 years? Or maybe in 10 minutes.
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet John Piper, Max Lucado, George Bush, and the guy who invented the nose hair trimmer (good call buddy!).
It was good to see you again. Hey a lady from our church came in Sunday evening after hearing you speak at your aunt's service and asked your mom what church were you the pastor of. Your message was truly anointed. Love ya.
