Band Members	Jipes is a blues afficionado but also likes other musics from Gospel to Folk including great artists like Ry Cooder, Kelly Joe Phelps or Chris Whitley. In the context of the Jipes Project, Maxime Meichler has joined since January 2008 on Soprano and Tenor saxophone . Solitude d'hiver Anger Live on stage in Basel (2008)
Influences	Jipes Project is the collection of songs from Jipes: acoustic mix of blues songs and folk influences, inspired by blues greats like Buddy Guy or Muddy Waters and the folk influences of Kelly Joe Phelps or Ani Difranco.

About Jipes Project

Jipes is born in Paris in 1959, he discovered the blues through the voice of Tao Ravao and Andy Forrest in the subway of Paris, Châtelet les Halles. Since then he played in numerous bands in Paris, Lyon or Mulhouse.

I am playing in two cover bands Mojo and the SoulManiacs and I create recently the Jipes Project with my own songs.

La programmation des mois avenir se complète de jour en jour en commençant ce weekend par deux soirées gratos - Ce soir une soirée de chauffe métal extrême (il va y avoir des watts !) - samedi 20 septembre (oui demain) une soirée Folk & Pagan animée par la belle, que dis-je ? la sublime Ravenna (il va y avoir du mâle en rut et du violon) . Pour la suite n'hésitez pas à consulter notre programmation sur notre myspace. Nous vous invitons tous également à venir fêter l’ouverture et voir la nouvelle déco du bar les 3 et 4 octobre (concerts, surprises & co. )
