In addition to that, the first single from the album, "Let the Big Dog Eat", has held the NUMBER ONE position for two months straight. "NO APOLOGIES" has been included in top ten lists for these major Publications... WALL STREET JOURNAL, CHICAGO TRIBUNE, CMT, WASHINGTON TIMES, USA TODAY.
All in the last few months, Jim has been featured on Carrie Underwood's hit single, "Don't Forget to Remember Me", from the Multi-Platinum "Some Hearts" recording, featured as part of his band, Mountain Heart, on the recording, "Strumming with the Devil" (with David Lee Roth), and has released a solo project that has quickly won RAVE reviews from many major publications: The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, Vintage Guitar Magazine, Gritz Magazine, No Depression, Bluegrass Unlimited, Knight Ridder, and The Associated Press.
Jim was also recently featured on the ACM Awards Show from Las Vegas with Sara Evans as a special guest performer.
Jim's solo recording "No Apologies" was released in May and immediately placed in the top ten in the BillBoard Sales Chart for that week, and remained there in the charts for several weeks following.
The first single from that album, "Let the Big Dog Eat" entered the charts for "Prime Cuts" at ..1 and held that spot for 5 weeks. In 2004, Jim won a GRAMMY for his work on the NARAS Country Album of the Year..."Livin', Lovin', Losin': A tribute to the Louvin Brothers".
