As far back as Kindergarden, I can remember having a passion for music and recording. Learning that the music played on the bowling alley jukebox was also played on the radio at home was a major discovery for me. I believe it was Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock and Roll" that brought about such enlightenment. However, the desire to capture this music overwhelmed my thoughts, in which it still does to this day. I am a professional audio engineer living in Nashville,TN specializing in recording bands and orchestral ensembles, on location for video, editing, mixing, post, and archiving vinyl.
The music player above contains material that I've recorded and mixed. Since the info button no longer works on myspace, go to www.myjimmyj.com/discography for album credits and additional information.
Please keep in touch. Also, be sure to check out my page and my tunes! I've got my debut EP coming out in September! I'll be releasing videos and songs all the meanwhile as well.
Hope all is well with you and hope to see you out at a show!
The band and I will be at French Quarter Cafe this Sat night at 8pm. Elizabeth Foster will play a few tunes first, then us. You and the Mrs. should come on out if you can. ($5 at the door.) -Tom
I can hardly wait for you and everyone else to see Studio B. We should have the painting completed the end of the week...and then we will get you in there to check it out...
Hey Jimmy, Thanks so much for the add! I've put a few rough mixes from my demo up on my page - I recorded them with Ben Phillips and Tony Lucido this past summer. Let me know what you think!
Thanks so much for the add! I've heard a lot about you. I just finished up my 2nd album with Stephen Gause. He was an amazing guy to work with. I hope things are well. God bless!
