Erik Update, I'm sorry I can't get to everyone, there just isn't enough time and I don't have enough working cells left right now to even try. However, I just wanted to get some info to those who love my "Baby Boy".
Erik is resting well (which we all know is one of his very favorite pasttimes). He is still being kept under heavy sedation. He is very stable and has been since they put him under befor surgery. Everyday we are seeing small improvments such as, responding with small facial expressions when he hears my voice or holding his hand. Yesterday we had a nice step forward when he responded to commands such as, Erik wiggle your toes and he did, or Erik move your leg and he did, Erik open your eyes, and he did etc, etc. This may not seem much to some of you but "By God" it's massive to us. I actually got him to squeeze my hand slightly the other night "WOW" what a feeling for MOM. These are all things the "Docs and staff" are excited over, as they did not expect this much so soon. These are all baby steps in the right direction and just the beginning of a very long, very hard road we have to travel. Please bear with me as I try to get updates to everyone. I have soooo much to do and MY main concern is by "Boy" (He has always come first and always will) so I do not intentionally mean to miss anyone or hurt any feelings. Those of you who know how to contact me may certainly do so and I will try my best to get back to you, the rest please check with Jimmi for updates.
