At just 12 years old, Jessica has already established herself as a prolific songwriter and seasoned performer. She writes music and lyrics with an ability that stretches far beyond her years. Jessica initially displayed an interest in the piano at the age of 3, and by the time she was 6, Jessica was playing sophisticated arrangements. Her musical style has been compared to that of Tori Amos, A Fine Frenzy and Kate Bush, but with an artistic vision all her own. Jessica wrote her debut album, 15 Minutes Ago, over a period of two years. At the age of 11 she wrote and recorded her first series of songs, including Who You Really Are, Listen, Vanessa, and Goodbye. A year later, with a notebook full of new songs, Jessica recorded the rest of the album with seasoned producer, Jimmy Landry. The outcome is a series of songs that embodies a variety of emotions; from the rock arrangement of Can You Feel It, to the ethereal melody of Still Not Enough, to the shadowy rendition of Linkin Park’s Numb. Jessica will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the album to the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (www.childrenshospitalla.org) and Music for Relief (www.musicforrelief.org).
