About Jesse Stephens

Jesse is a self taught musician from Melbourne, Australia who will turn his hand to any instrument that falls his way.

Love of all things lo-fi coupled with a perfectionist streak creates a beautifully polished yet evocatively raw sound.

Drawing on influences from the likes of Neil Young, Elliott Smith, and Beck; Jesse creates music that stands open and exposed with no pretensions, allowing you to make of it and take from it what you will.

Of Jesses music it has been said: Its truly one of the most mystical things about music when you can hear something new for the first time, and yet it is not unfamiliar, somehow you immediately accept it and it becomes home.
