On this page, just myself, I sort of just played everything.
However, I am in the Ernie Lewis Band, this music isn't a reflection of that at all. I think music is the greatest form of communication.

My name is Jerry, I make music with the Ernie Lewis band. We're a very powerful trio of musicians who have dedicated more years, gigs, road travel between us than a lot of five piece outfits! We combine originals with covers that exemplify hard work, dignity, and shitloads of integrity! Our live shows are powerful, free of shitty hair metal and pretty boy fluff. Simply put, we're in this to make music, not idols of ourselves, nor to be this week's flash in the pan cock wavers. Our egos are firmly in check with an emphasis on fun, and professionalism, while bringing you songs that you simply do not hear other bands performing tirelessly. We're ever grateful for our fanbase, and completely adore YOU the audience who has shown much love to us over the past year! We will never be unapproachable to a fan, nor musical peer, as we have made a promise to unite with the other local acts in this area for the betterment of our musical community! For this, we also have been extremely blessed with much respect from other local bands that we have had the honor of sharing a bill with! We too respect each of them, hey, that's what it's about!
You won't see us posing and trying to act like MTV stars at live shows, but you will get some of the most dedicated, high energy musicianship that three guys who have all been performing since they were pre-teens, can give! Weed out the posers, and we'll still be standing baby! See you at the gigs!!!!! We love you!!!!!!!!!!!! ------ Jerry ELB

Black Randy: ok, so you found the illegal phone conversation that he taped between myself and him, around 1979, discussing the private info about me that he so freely shared on Richard Meltzer's radio show. He quite literally put me in a very public position of being either busted, killed or ripped off (thank G-d, only the last happened -- many times, and never pleasant).
Well, everything you need to know about Black Randy and I are on that tape. (there's more, but it's private.) He was a character! Can't say that I miss him! The rotten little creep. Brilliant, but so twisted. Really enjoyed sticking knives into people's backs. But punk was then, and now, full of assholes like him. Just few as entertaining.
I can think of a few of the living that I would not miss when they join him in hell. Whatever, we all have our history, us truly early LA punks. Life is all about accepting what is and moving on.
When you listen to the beginning of "Sperm Bank Baby," and he says "Jenny Stern is gonna take all our photos. She likes that kind of thing." He is talking about me, but didn't know I changed my name to Jenny Lens around the time he recorded that song.
What awesome pix of Black Randy? I have two shots in my book, "Punk Pioneers." What more do you want from me, blood?? Believer it or not, I have other interests besides early punk! Raw foods, yoga, fresh air, reading, old movies. Black Randy is dead.
