From the choir loft, to the stage, to the corner bar, it’s been a journey of self-discovery that has defined Jennifer’s unique vocal style. Inspired by the guitar talent of Derek Cilibraise, personal experience, and an appreciation for simple things; she crafts lyrics that reflect a romanticism with everyday life. Her diverse resume includes work on Emmy Award winning Citizen’s Bank jingle, singing background for Carl “Bad Mama-Jama” Carlton, major gospel stage productions, studio sessions with the legendary, Grammy Award winning Motown writer John Glover, as well as vocal work on many Detroit area musicians projects from Jazz, to Rock.
Jennifer met Derek in a Pontiac recording studio while he was working as a front man and guitarist for the local band 222. The group had some radio airplay success on a major Flint rock station. Before that, he used his powerful vocals with Leaderdogs for the Blind, a successful Indie project that was signed with the now defunct metal label, R.E.X. records which also signed Six Pence none the Richer and Klayton Scott of CELLDWELLER.
Years later Jennifer and Derek reunited and decided to start writing down to earth, fun music that would reflect both of their roots and a love for catchy, memorable guitar riffs. Not long after they decided to put a band together and caught up with Neil, Dan, and David.
Originally from the UK, Dan has been in bands all his life. He has a driving rhythm and powerful vocal style, a result of many years spent on stage and in studio. With a passion for alternative and classic rock (amongst other genres) Dan is at his happiest at a gig. Dan's favorite guitar is the Tokai and he uses Fender, Tech 21 and Vox Amps.
