Jean Marie was born in the spring of 2005 to trumpets blaring and flowers blooming. Its current dreamy incarnation includes Jem Fanvu on voice and guitar and Alex Uncapher on voice and Wurlitzer piano.
Jean Marie has played shows with Oppenheimer (Belfast, Ire.), The Mosquitos (NYC), Ruthann Friedmann (LA), Garland of Hours (DC), Paula Frazer, Port O'Brien, The Finches, The Moore Bros, Citay, and Drop Earrings, among other magnificent and munificent musical luminaries.
