About J.C. AUTO(lives with CAGEMATCH TO THE DEATH)
J.C. auto formed in mid 2001 in Ennis, MT. After practicing 3 nights a week for 6 months we played our first show in January of 2002. For the next three years we played gigs all over northwest, the majority of which in Montana. Towards the end of 2004 co-founding guitarist Tim Fix decided to move on. While down, but certainly not out, we played as a three piece for nearly a year until finding the right person to fill his shoes; that person is Ryan (formerly of Brimmer). The addition of Ryan made J.C. auto a full plate again and we came back with a vengeance. Then in mid 2006 our bassist Pat chose to leave the band. For the next 2 months we borrowed bass players from 3% Rhino and Cagematch To The Death until finally deciding on long time fan and bass player DrunkPunk (aka: Dustin).
Now, fresh off of tour with a new line-up, new songs and a new CD; J.C. auto is back and more intense than ever.
Okay friends & music lovers…my Birthday is Saturday night at midnight. I would love it if you all could get on down to Cactus & buy a ticket to see the award winning film ‘Seven Signs’ by JD Wilkes (front man for Th’ Legendary Shack*Shakers). After the film, which starts at 8 pm sharp you will have the pleasure of seeing The Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank all the way from Minneapolis, followed by local favorites The Meatskin Jubilee Jug Band. Then at midnight Th’ Shack Shakers are going to bring in my 34th with shots and a crazy rendition of Happy B-Day. This is going to be a special event & I would love to see all my friends down there for the evening. Tix are at Cactus Records and have begun to sell quickly, so get on down so you don’t miss out on this one. Below are some other shows to be looking forward to in the coming weeks & days. Oh & all my summer shows are NON-Smoking ~ Cheers ~ Grant
