Just wanted to give MAJOR props to the taping team for R3-08. The more routines I learn, the more I am in awe... there are a lot of brain teasers! The customers and I are loving the challenge, though. It feels great when you finally "get it!"
And a big AMEN to Young - I just (finally) learned "Crazy" and it lives up to its name big time! After successfully introducing it to my class last night, I felt like singing a big hallelujah too!! :) It just keeps getting better... love you guys!
Just wanted to share that I passed my Movement Screening! I am on my way to becoming a Jazzercise Instructor! Workshop is in November! I AM SO EXCITED! I love Jazzin and can't wait to share it with everyone!
The new set is nice- very motown. And I can't help but wonder..is the Kelly Rowland opening the longest song we've done (7 min. 11 sec.). And the In My Daughters Eyes is very sweet...I've had two students who gotten emtional during the song. Love the new stuff!
Tres Jazz was WONDERFUL!!!! Thanks for all your hard work in putting that together. As an instructor, I have a new appreciation for all that you all do at the corporate office. I really have a new appreciation for the routine New Soul...GO SHANNA!!
Tres Jazz was SO much fun! Thanks for putting together such a wonderful event :) I was recently on a business trip in Cali and just visited your center in Oceanside. SO fabulous, thanks for having me!!
Hey gang - the new set looks GREAT! Thanks for all your hard work in getting it out to us so fast, especially after Tres Jazz!! I can imagine things were crazy for a while and I hope you all get a chance to relax a bit now! :)
I can't wait to teach a couple new ones tonight. Woohoo! And save a place for me at La Quinta!!
Tres Jazz was the best convention yet. Way to go Judi and team! Kickboxing, shopping, Bourbon St., hurricanes, Kenny Harvey and his party, beignets.....can't wait to do it again in 2010! See ya in La Quinta!
Check out my new profile song! This thing jams and it makes me think of stuff we could work with in a routine..check out "Lyrics Born"..Alternative, Funk genre-reminiscent of Jamiroquoi. Just my .02, I was thinking the same thing about "Funplex" when I heard it on my alternative station a while ago..
I received my very first "jazzer dollar dance" last Saturday. It was my last class before my wedding, and the ladies started walking up during the O/I and told me this was my dollar dance :-) It was the sweetest thing, and something I will always remember!
I am wondering if any instructors out there have any suggestions for a quality headset/mic/receiver. I have been an instrucor for one year and initially purchased a SAMSON system. It worked great in the beginning, but became very tempermental and completely broke twice.
If you have any suggestions on a brand that won't break the bank, I would appreciate it so much. I love being an instructor, and have been depending on my partners mic. Thanks.
Hi I'm Wendi from Atlanta. I just passed the Jazzercise screening last Saturday's and now will beginning workshop and hopefully become certified on June 29th. Any tips and or advise for workshop and learning to do everything on the left would be helpful! Thanks

Hi! We are instructors Jan & Shawn from Aberdeen, Washington. I (Jan) have been teaching 4 years now, and love every minute of it! I love to exercise and enjoy sharing the passion with others! Shawn has been with jazzercise over 11 years. As a student, she was class manager...then became an instructor and class owner shortly after! Shawn was the jazzercise district trainer in our area for over 5 years and resigned from that position last summer.
I'm Lisa from Overland Park, KS. I've been an instructor for 2 years at the OP Center. I'm looking forward to attending Tres Jazz in July with several of the Heartland Instructors!
Hi! I'm Hollie from Denver, CO. I teach at the Denver Jazzercise Center and have for 7 years this July!! I started at the Denver Center as a student back in 1997 and have been hooked ever since! Cheers to healthy living!
Hi! My name is Kathy and I've been doing Jazzercise for about 5 years. I took a break from Jazzercise for about 2 years, but now I'm back and loving it more than ever!!! I belong to the Jazzercise center in Woodstock, GA and we have great instructors!
Hi! I've been teaching for about 4 1/2 years here in Pittsburgh and I've loved every second of it! Can't wait for Tre..s Jazz (I saw your comment down there Beck!! Good luck tomorrow you'll do GREAT! I love you girl!!) I took my first class with my mother in law about 9 years ago and became a class manager 2 years after that, then certified a year after that. It's been the best thing for me. I can't imagine my life without exercise and all of the awesome people I've met along the way!
My name is Michelle and I've been doing Jazzercise since the end of April, 2007 in Lackawanna NY (near Buffalo). We have Rose, Cathi, Kathy and Barb for instructors and we love ALL OF THEM! I am also combined Jazzercise with Weight Watchers and have lost an amazing 57 lbs since doing both! I wouldn't trade Jazzercise for any other workout. It is simply the best!! I hope to someday teach the classes as well.
My name is Tina, and I have been Jazzercising in Clayton, NC for 5 years now. For the last 3 of those years, I have been an instructor! I am currently 7 1/2 months pregnant, still teaching 2-4 classes each week, and full of energy! I LOVE it!
Jazzercise has always been a part of my life. My mother would take us with her every morning during the summers and she was a CM so we spent a lot of time at Jazzercise. It only seemed right that it stay a part of my life. I have been Jazzercising at my current location for about 6 years and in July will be my 2 year anniversary as an instuctor. I Love Jazzercise.
Good Morning!! My name is Vanessa & I have been an instructor for the best district (GA) since July of 2006! I love my position with Jazzercise & feel wonderful! (Okay, I need new shoes but other than that, I am fantastic) = ) I started Jazzercising after my 1st son was born (March of 2002) to lose baby weight...I've been going ever since. Before becoming certified to teach I had my last of 3 boys and was doing STEP (which I LOVE) 2 times a week as well as a regular class too! It was great for my body both during and after pregnancy! The weight finally came completely off once I started busting it on the stage (only 4 months of teaching and I was 20+ pounds lighter. This program works & I am so proud to say I help people achieve thier fitness goals through Jazzercise!!! (And Personal Touch)
My name is Cricket and I'm an instructor in Bremerton, WA. I've been teaching for about 1.5 years, which came after taking classes for a year and losing 20 pounds. It was the first fitness routine I could stick with because it's so fun!
My name is Kathi & I started doing Jazzercise the beginning of Feb. of this year to supplement my already vigorous biggest loser workout! (we have a biggest loser competition going on in our town, pretty exciting) Needless to say I am addicted, on days I don't go to jazzercise I feel like CRAP! Whether I do morning the morning class or the evening class, it always makes me feel so much better! I leave with newfound confidence! I now know that after the 12 week biggest loser competition is over here in my small town I will be jazzercising for many many more weeks to come! I feel strong and I am so determined to keep it that way....THANKS JAZZERCISE!!!
