Jay Garcia was born Luis J. Feliciano on Dec. 11th, 1979 in Springfield, MA. He is the youngest of 8 siblings that grew up in Holyoke, MA till the age of 11 when his Puerto Rican parents moved them to the North End section of Springfield, MA. Jay was introduced to the world of films at the age of 11 when he stepped inside his uncle's Video Store that was located on Plainfield St. He started going there everyday until his uncle asked him if he wanted to help around and Jay was fascinated with all of the movies and was instanly hooked. Working everyday for just $20 a week meant nothing to him as long as he was there in which he was for the next 4 years. He also has an Uncle located in the Bronx, NY that owns a Video Store aswell. Jay knew that being in movies was all he wanted to do and didn't actually start taking the business seriously till 3 years ago. If you know him personaly then you should already know that he loves the movie business. Since then he has been in everything from Student Films to Short Films, Theatre, Independent Films and is currently in a TV Mini-Series titled "Angles" which is filmed in New Bedford, MA. Jay's goal is to take New England by storm and then branch out to NYC and even L.A. He is blessed to have his family and friends supporting him. Thank You for taking the time to read this.
