Jamie Slocum Music	Jul 22 2008 12:40 AM Hi Jamie, In the summer of 2001 I was a patient at Remuda Ranch . You put on a mini-concert for us, and it was great! I have listened to your song "Never Gonna Let You Go" a million times during the last 7 years. I continue to listen to your music as a way to let my heart say and hear what it needs to. You closed that chapel service with an unfinished song that you had written called "Beautiful Prize." I have some of the words written down in my journal, and it brought tears to my eyes. Did you ever finish that song? If not, please do! If yes, where can I hear it? You blessed the wounded hearts of a small group of women fighting for their lives. Thank you for your compassion. Tom	Jul 17 2008 1:57 PM Thanks for the bulletin Jamie. Your music has kept me going the past few weeks since I was laid off from my job of 8 yrs. I have to say that it has been rough going and at times I do still feel emotions of where is the Lord when I need him but then I realize that He has a purpose for me and that it will be reveled in time. I just have to be patient.

We've seen up from 79 - 85 kids come through the Ten Mile church doors each night. Two kids were already saved....the first before 1/2 the "first" night was over. AFter that I'll work for a week then heading to Wrightsville/Wilmington NC for a weeks vacation with my two girls...first time in 20 and 25 years we've ever went anywhere together alone. Pray for our save travel. My life at times is very hectic...but...Jesus is coming soon and we must "never give up!" Right? Hope all is well with you. I watch the new dvd...Awesome! Today marks an anniversary of sorts of when the man that I thought was going to be my husband left me for someone else. I am getting past the pain, but today just kind of hurts a bit. (I sure would appreciate prayers sent this way as you read this.) Jamie's video and song really reached out to me during a moment when I needed a spiritual boost. Terry	Jul 16 2008 9:37 PM Thank you for the power of positive thing type bulletin. We need more of those on here. It's been a tough summer for me... I lost my mom in Dec. She was 81 & lived a very good life. I am thankful for the type death she had. It couldn't have been better. However, I spent most of my free time with her & am learning to live without her here. I have the satifaction knowing she is in a better place & I'll see her again. I teach 5th grade and school starting back will help keep my mind occupied. Again, thanks for your positive bulletin.
