In a world of silence, especially growing up with a family who haven't a clue that poor communication hinders routine socialisation, books and writing journals or poems were my life-savior.

About me: I'm Jade, the world's only Jamaican-American filmmaker who happens to be Deaf. I've been producing films since film school days in 1989 at Tisch School of the Arts (NYU). It's the adrenaline passion in my blood. I would not call this living if not for my gift because I would not know what else to do with myself. That's my life purpose.
