I'm a 53 year old, genuine "down to earth lady". I'm happily married. I am disabled due to a rare lung disease I have called Lam. I collect Holstein cows. I have lots of knick knacks & stuffed animals, of them. "I'm a city born & bred gal,who is, "country & young @ heart", despite having health issues. I enjoy feeding & watching the birds in my backyard. I enjoy researching my genealogy. I enjoy gardening, but must keep it limited to potted flowers or my indoor plants. I love to travel, but am limited now, due to needing oxygen, 24/7. Myspace Comments

I enjoy Classic & Contemporary Gospel, Country & Western from the 60's &70's, Bluegrass, Irish, Scottish & Celtic Music. A bit of German music & Oldies from the 70's & early 80's.
Movies
My all time favorite movie is, Sound Of Music. I love old musicals. I prefer older movies to the ones of today.

I enjoy some TV, not any network TV, with the exception of HouseMD. I enjoy watching PBS, where we tape old British sitcoms. I watch CNN, History Channel, Weather Channel,National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel & a few other cable channels.

I'm a 53 year old, happily married lady. I am also disabled due to health issues. I'm down to earth & have a positive attitude, along with my strong faith in God!
I'm the oldest of 3 kids, from my family & only girl. lol Needless to say, I grew up with 2 brothers. One is 5 & the other one is 7 years younger, than me.
I have been disabled, since 2001. Prior to that, I worked in health care, as a nursing assistant, in two hospitals, in the greater Milwaukee area, for about 10 years. Then in 1987,while living in Virginia, I became a phlebotomist. I worked primarly in blood banks. Two different regions of the Red Cross. One was in Virginia & the other was in North Carolina. I also worked @ a hospital in North Carolina, that had it's own, Blood Donation Center. I also, worked @ The Blood Center Of Southeastern Wisconsin. In Milwaukee & one of the branches. The one here, in Kenosha. They serve over 6 counties. Which is the most populated area, of Wisconsin. I have a rare lung disease, that is called Lam for short. My energy & stamina is limited. I also know that there are many people in the world that, are worse off than me. I see the "cup as half full, not half empty".
Who I'd like to meet:
I'm looking for friendship. I enjoy chatting with, honest & genuine people. Conversation, must be kept clean. No foul language, or any cyber sex! Talk about each other & interests, day to day life..where you live, family, etc.

Hello Jackie! Sorry That you are sick.Hope you will feel better soon. We got back home around noon on sunday.The Car drives great on the Autobahn(German interstate)It is a dark blue metallic Station Wagon. It has been raining here so I didn..t take a Picture of it,We spend a nice time with my Brother and Sister in law.I got to spoil the newest addition to my oldest nephews family.A little girl her name is Sabrina she is 2 weeks old.She is sooo tiny.Well Werner had to go on the road again tonight,but didn..t have to far to go to the town where he has to unload the Truck.Well you take care of yourself so you will get well again soon.Lots of Love and get well Hugs aus Deutschland von Deiner Schwester und Freundin Heidi
