JACK BLANCHARD & MISTY MORGAN:
GRAMMY NOMINEES,
BILLBOARD MAGAZINE "DUET OF THE YEAR".
OUR SONGS CONTAIN:
Bald-headed birds in dirty underwear,
spirits flying beyond time,
home-sick steel workers,
lost souls,
a guest of honor crying at his own funeral,
old folks,
autumn days,
a clock witnessing a murder,
weeds, cobwebs, yellow bellied sap suckers,
and other deep stuff we have gathered from first-hand
observation of life and carefully taken down in brown crayon.
We’ve been right here in this dream all along,
waiting for you.
Think of all the fun we can have before we wake up!
Thanks for finding us.

Thought I'd check in because it's one of my Somewhere in Virginia days, I just let it play over & over. God, I love that song!! Thanks for presenting it to your fans.....SO WELL, too! Love2U
I love that profile pic of you two up there in the corner...I can safely say that there were no other country stars who looked as cool as that back then.
"Feeling A Change In My Life" is a good record...It was 2 or 3 years ahead of it's time...Had it come out in 1975 or 1976 i think it might have been a big hit...That record would have been right in line with the popular sound in country music in those years.
Hello Jack and Misty, Thanks you for adding me. It's a pleasure to meet you Your songs are very beautyful Very nice voice, nice songs and nice music. I love your song God Bless Friendship Kiss from Belgium Sara
"The Lonely Sentry" still hits home after all these years...And it really does have a unique sound...As always you were way ahead of your time...Unfortunately it seems we still have time for war...And so another lonely sentry stands watch...in another time...and another place.
Hi Jack & Misty, Thank you so much for adding me. I love what you wrote here on your page about you and also, seeing Kurt Vonnegut, my favorite author, listed in your Influences is so interesting. I visited your site JackandMisty.com and I really enjoy that site. Tons of stuff for me to read and you're such a good writer. I absolutely love your music! Thanks again - Sandy
"One Last Song Together" is terrific...It's got everything...Great melody and lyrics (written by Jack Blanchard)...and heartfelt vocals riding on a lush...string filled arrangement...There are so many people who can relate to the sentiments in this song...The emotional response may be that some people might find enough reasons to stay together after listening to the lyrics of this song..."One Last Song Together" begs for a sequel...I wanna find out if the couple decides to back out of calling it quits.
