A Brief History of Steve Harrises: Our first bass player, Steve Harris 1, spontaneously combusted right before our first scheduled major west coast tour. The second bass player, Steve Harris 2, also spontaneuosly combusted while eating an ice cream cone. Our most recent bass player, Steve Harris 3, unfortunately met the same fate as the other Steve Harrises despite his body temperature being closely monitored with a rectal thermometer. After searching high and wide for Steve Harris 4, The Quatro was found right under our noses who has succeeded its throne.
Hailing from the dark and gritty industrial wasteland of West Berkeley, there sprang a band born to pay tribute to the metal gods Iron Maiden. Their name was to be I Yearn 4 Maiden. Their first concert took place in an illegal warehouse along the train tracks, complete with smoke, lights, trashy metal vixens, headbangin' metal dudes, and a 7 foot tall Eddie. They soon began to conquer everything in their path including local night clubs, punk shows, birthday parties, the People's Park, and a public bus converted into a mobile show space. What lies in their projected path of destruction remains uncertain: soccer stadiums, festivals, weddings, bar mitzvahs, BBQs, hair salons, subway stations... ? Only the metal gods know their true destiny...
