Most stuff by Christopher Moore, old Steven King, David Sedaris, Memoirs of a Geisha, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil...I like witty books that take a long day to read. Oh, and Daniel Pinkwater and collections of Edward Gorey (The Gashlycrumb Tinies--A is for Amy who fell down the stairs...B is for Basil assaulted by bears). Two books I loved as a child were The Snarkout Boys and the Avocado of Death, and A Wrinkle in Time. Made me open my eyes and mind.
About me: Born and still live in Cleveland, although I think I want to move Out West. I'm not sure where, but New Mexico seems like a good idea. Out West I bet I can really indulge in my love of Day of the Dead art and Milagros and fish tacos. I want an adobe house, an alfresco kitchen, and a tortoise ranch. Other animals would be welcome. And you would be, too! Just bring the makings for a margarita. I like mine with salt.
I...usually sneeze in threes...eat sushi once a week...have a love/hate relationship with Drew Barrymore that she is unaware of...love to feed the birds and squirrels in my backyard and then call people and tell them all about it...like margaritas and black martinis...prefer to add my own butter to microwave popcorn...hold many political beliefs but usually don't reveal them...want to see Fiji or any Polynesian island...have many articles of clothing and accessories with skulls although I am neither in a band nor a badass...love my brother more than anybody...always have canned mushrooms and orange segments in the pantry...buy cookbooks as my porn...got my driver license in October 2005, when I was 35 (at least I passed on my first try)...have a star named after me that a friend bought as a gift...think Anchorman is one of the greatest movies ever and secretly think less of people who pick another Will Ferrell movie as the best...
