Isang Himig (tagalog for "One Voice") is a multicultural vocal ensemble affiliated with the UCSC Filipino Student Association. We seek to create community and promote awareness of Filipino American culture through music. Isang Himig is coordinated by Airene Tomboc and Quincy Surasmith.

I want you all to remember that through all the different things we may have faced as a group this year, we always learned from the experiences and grew together from them, whether these experiences were bad or good. This is what makes this group so amazing because it is through times like this that Isang Himig shines the brightest. I thank you all for letting me shine with you, through the good and bad, and I only ask that you keep shining on and to keep inspiring others to shine as well. I know you all have it in you to keep the Isang Himig spirit alive. Never forget the path that was paved for us that got us all as one group to this one place in time. Keep growing, keep learning, and keep singing. I love you all.
Hello my loves! So next Saturday on the 29th the Philippine Madrigal Choir will be performing here in Walnut Creek. Tickets are 20 bucks let me know if you would be interested so I can order tickets! It's right by my house and the parents are not home!
When I get back.. (which is now sooner) I wanna keep recording so we can finish our songs. I'm done basically but we just need to do true/every breath again.. and i NEED quincy and dennis foSHO on all the songs. k? It's done so lets plan a date. love you all and miss you.. see you at my grad party yah? aug.25. I'll be sending you guys invites mosdef.. and my fam loves to hear us sing.. so be prepared.. lol.
kimmie has them saved on her computer, but shes in europe. and not everything was recorded. for instance, quincy was sooo busy the last month of school and his solo wasnt recorded. and a lot of dubbing of parts that was supposed to happen never happened cause people didnt have time to do it... the only ones that are really done are "journey" "usahay" and the national anthem.
so when you update this thing, i have ih's aapi grad performance on youtube... and i expect to see it on this page during the entire 07-08 school year... hahahaha
im excited for all of our songs from this year to be up on this page... listening to kimmie edit and put everything together is tedious, but fun cause im lovin hearing how we come together. hahahaha.
omg guys.. i don't think dennis likes that.. he asked politely not to say that anymore. but we gotta admit that he was droppin panties.. and briefs/boxers last night. good job last night loves. its monday morning and i already miss you!!
oh hell... you guys... "dennis and the isang himigers"?! really? stop embarassing the poor guy!!! its not his fault his voice is soooooo smooth!!! haha.
