The longstanding lineup features Linda Ippolito on vocal, bass guitar and fiddle; Robin Badders on vocal, harmony, and guitars; Paul 'Ippy' Ippolito on vocal, lead and bass guitar, and Dave Dalessio on drums. The band performs original and some well-chosen cover songs featuring rock, country blues, and folk standards in electric and/or acoustic settings and format. Early on, working clubs, coffeehouses, dancehalls, festivals, farmers markets, parties in the very competitive NY, NJ, PA metro area; Ippy and The Project enjoyed favorable reviews on their releases and live shows. Highlights during this time were several interview and live performances for the internet program 'Anything Goes' and Famed DJ Peter Marketta on HomeGrownRadioNJ . Interview and performance in NYC with classic rock DJ Joey Reynolds (the original shock jock) on his live, late night program WOR 710 AM. Interview and pictures in anticipation of our new cd at that time 'Come On Down' by several local newspapers including The Star Ledger, The Aquarian, Arts Weekly, East Coast Rocker, Morris County Daily Record, and Morristown Green newspaper of NJ. Breaking it down from electric to acoustic and performing live on the television program series (now syndicated on internet)" Horses Sing None Of It" #450, for Ralph Litwin. Celebrating 'The Folk Project's' 30th Anniversary Festival as featured artists. Several tours ending up in Memphis,TN; and both performing and studying with the lovely people of Augusta Blues Festival, Elkins, WV. It is important to note these early tours of the southern states were very influential on Paul and Linda's songwriting and playing style. And a return to performing more traditional forms of American music.
