Note: This profile is ran by New School Records, not In Stereo or any of its past members.
In Stereo was formed in early 2005 by members of Nuclear Saturday and the ever popular Atlanta act Lights Out. Since all four members have previously been lead players in other serious bands, they had the knowledge on what it takes to make it! And with only a few months of existence under their belt, they were off to a quick start – receiving endorsements from clothing companies, sponsorships from amplification manufacturers and enough motivation to take on the world. In early-2005, In Stereo signed with New School Records and released their debut record, Death Before Emo – which has landed them licensing deals, getting their hit song Waking Up on a Discovery Channel special and in multiple movie soundtracks. In late-2006, the band released their full length record, Return To Alternative, which embellish the stereotypical remarks held over the over-played pop-punk genre. In Stereo has without a doubt built a firm foundation for a successful future! Download their songs, buy their records and be sure not to miss their live performances.

REVIEW: Alternative Press Magazine (Issue 227, June 2007) - Ex-Nuclear Saturday guys with a debut LP produced by Stephen Egerton (Descendents, All). A solid 50/50 mixture of power-pop a la the Stereo and bouncy pop-punk akin to the Living End. Frontman Jesse Cole sounds exactly like the Stereo's Jamie Woolford - which is a great thing in our books. Go download 'Sweet Relentless You' ASAP."
REVIEW: Fat City Magazine - "This is one fun freakin' record! Bouncy pop-punchy songs jam packed with tons of catchy hooks, driving melodies and heartfelt, inspired lyrics. Kinda like a more upbeat Jawbreaker mixed with Weezer. These guys should be all over the radio with infectious tunes like these. The songs are mostly carious stories of Cure-like heartbreak, but thankfully the upbeat feeling of the music and excellent vocal deliveries keep them from coming off like yet more whiny emo fodder. This is pure power pop in the best sense of the term with right musicianship and fantastic, punchy production to match. Don't pass these guys up. In fact, bug your local radio station to look into 'em, too. As much as I love knowing about bands few others do, I would love for In Stereo to knock tripe like Dashboard Confessional off the air!"
REVIEW: Highwire Daze Magazine - “With an EP as thoroughly promising as Death Before Emo, expect to see In Stereo headlining stages at the Warped Tour in no time. The six songs contained within are highly infectious, presenting to the world a thrilling new chapter in well written melodic punk music. Waking Up kick starts the EP into high gear with its memorable chorus and is instantly likeable. Always And Forever is an anthem-like track that will have crowds singing along at their shows. Another highlight is When I Come Undone, an all-out rocker that should really set the slam outs into full flight. Featuring the participation of noted producer Marc McClusky of Nuclear Saturday, In Stereo is destined for rock and roll greatness. Already in the midst of recording their full-length debut, I would expect that we'll be hearing a lot more from this massively talented collective in the future. In the meantime, fans of Blink 182 and the Drive-Thru roster will want to check into Death Before Emo and discover their new favorite band.”
