We have been working for a while now on Lea Lea Jones debut album. It is almost ready, and the finishing touches are being made. You can check out her her space via our top friends. She also features on our tune "Oh My!". She has been really busy with gigs and trips to the US over the last few months. Here is a snippet for her biog:
"Still only 21 years old, already, she has shared the stage with heavy weight artists including Jay-Z, Beyonce and Amy Winehouse at some of London’s top venues: Earls Court, the Jazz Café and Mean Fiddler. She recently performed at the Google party (Switzerland) to an audience which included the Queen of Jordan, Laura Bush, Bono from U2, Peter Gabriel and the founders of Google and Facebook....."
Her album is gonna be off the hook and will dropping later this year. In the meantime we are gonna be practicing like crazy getting a live set together to match it!
SOULFUL SPIDER ON THE RADIO:
Our very own, Soulful One has been making a radio show called "Bread and Water", which is downloadable from www.INQonline.com
Bread and Water: Like an inmate at camp X-ray, you'll soon find yourself craving this nourishment. Unlike a camp X-ray inmate you'll be treated to (good) music, debate and jokes... and treated with dignity and opportunity. Controversy, entercation and tunage are rife! So please come join the Bunning Monkey and the Soulful Spider for some dinner!
MUDSON EP:
"Mud Sun combines the talents of UK Slam Champion MC Dizraeli and Canadian MC Baba Brinkman, creator of "The Rap Canterbury Tales", with production by London's Infinite Potential, and Brighton's Tom Caruana.
Mud Sun is a composite of opposites, darkness and light, earth and fire, New World and Old World, lyrics and melodies, mind and spirit, serious and absurd, bangers and mash.
Mud Sun is good old fashioned crowd-hyping rap music, a dirty, angry, riotous, scathing, and hilarious reflection of life on this ball of spinning earth in the 21st century.
Mud Sun is the sound of hip-hop evolving."
