aside from sewing and blowing glass, we love to play disc golf, hike, dance, swim, tend to our many animals, read, create art and music, spin my poi, garden (organically, of course), go to shows, be in nature, be with our lovely daughter Leona Fern, get together with friends, rough house with our 2 dogs (dooderbug and cosmos) and enjoying other peoples beautiful art in any form.
We love beautiful gems and crystals and are always keeping our eyes open for beautiful gifts from mamma earth!
i (marlena) enjoy talking to other mammas about their birth stories (especially home/ natural/ water births!) and learning about birth and babies. I could also talk forever about sewing, fabric and anything crafty! I'm also a huge Bollywood movie fan. Dorky, i know but don't care!
I have also gotten really into Nia in the past year. It has changed my life and i can't get enough of it!! For those of you who don't know what it is, it is a form of dance that incorperates modern dance, martial arts,and tai chi. It is sooooooooo much fun and i recommend it to anyone who can move their body. go to www.nia-nia.com to find a class near you.

Paheli, Koi..... Mil Gaya, Straight from the Heart, i heart huckabees, napoleon dynamite, Lagaan, Asoka, i don't know, i can barely sit through an entire movie these days, to be honest!
Television
Mostly, I can't stand TV but on occasion I enjoy cheesey british comedy such as Keeping Up Apperances (my fave!) and Red Dwarf. i also love 6 feet under and project runway and Man vs. Wild (i love bear!)
Books
The Mists of Avalon, The forest House, clan of the cave bear, the spiral dance, the Poisonwood Bible, uuummmmm................... I haven't done much reading since Leona was born but i swear, someday i will be able to pick up a book again, maybe when Leona is 18 and on her own and i have tons of free time!
Heroes
our extended families, independant artists who make a living on their craft and those who appreciate and support them/us. hmmmm....so many, really! Seems like i meet a new one everyday!
About me: Greetings friends! We're Todd and Marlena and we are a married couple of independant artists who enjoy the simple pleasures in life such as learning the secret to eternal happiness from our beautiful daughter Leona, hiking, swimming, tending to our many animals, gardening, eating yummy organic foods, and of course creating beautiful functional art! Todd is a glass blower (an amaizing one at that!) and he specializes in making EVERYTHING HE CAN THINK OF!! Mostly he likes to make beads, pendants, jars, pipes, aromatherapy vials, vases, ornaments and so on. The list goes on forever really!
I (Marlena) have shifted my focus away from the glass blowing since our daughter was born. I've gone back to my roots: sewing! I specialize in hemp, organic cotton and other natural fiber clothing, for the laid back, eco-concious hippie! I also like to crochet. I crochet hats, mittens, super cute halter tops and bikinis, i have made some arm warmers but i don't do it very often, lets see what else, uummmmm..... i don't know, just anything that comes to mind really!
I also greatly enjoy making clothing for my daughter :)
