Improv A Go Go's Comedian Bio
BioTHE NEXT LOTTERY TO PERFORM AT THE IAGG IS DECEMBER 1ST

HOW CAN I PERFORM AT THE IAGG??:

the Improv A Go Go is an open venue to all forms of improvised theater. we hold a lottery 3 times per year for slots in the next performance season.

December 1st is the lottery date for the Winter Season (January - May)
April 1st is the lottery date for the Summer Season (May-September)
August 1st is the lottery date for the Fall Season (September-November)

the Improv A Go Go is on hiatus the month of December.

TO SIGN UP:
simply send an email to butch@fivemanjob.com anytime before the lottery date
include in the email:
your name
your group name
type of structure you'll be doing
contact phone ..
email address

You will be notified on the lottery date if your group has a slot in the next season.

THAT LOOKS EASY, ANYONE COULD DO THAT:
yes and no.
hopefully it looks easy, and not everyone can do it.
the IAGG is open to all but we strongly encourage applicants to have improv training at the very least and, even better, some stage experience.

if you have neither you're still welcome to sign up.
you may find out it's not as easy as it looks.

THE CASH:
all the cash from the $1 tickets go right back to the performers (after paying our wonderful venue, the Brave New Workshop)
the IAGG takes no cut of the door.

YOUR JOB:
bring people to the show
the IAGG survives entirely on word of mouth from our fans and our participants.
it is the responsibility of all the performers to hype the shows in which they appear.
the IAGG itself does not do any marketing.
if you'd like to perform to a sold out house, bring a sell out crowd.

it's that simple.

thanks everybody. Butch, Lauren and Dan

New York Television Festival

Jun 21 2007 10:26 AM

Upload your short comedy sketches to MSN Soapbox for a chance to star in a new comedy TV pilot! The NYTVF and Procter & Gamble Productions have teamed up to create an innovative new sketch comedy program and are inviting the best actors, comedians, and improv performers around the country to audition. The best sketch teams in the country will be flown to the 2007 NY Television Festival in September to form the inaugural “Procter & Gamble Productions Players,” a sketch comedy supergroup that will perform live for the festival’s industry attendees. This performance will be recorded and broadcast on MSN Video while it is shopped to the NYTVF’s network partners, which last year included NBC, ABC, FOX, A&E, Bravo, and IFC.

Feb 15 2007 5:37 AM

Hey sorry about that I must have given you the wrong one. That's funny because I tried that one a while ago too, the one I gave you, and it made me all mad because they sucked real bad, and they didn't pay too good either they offered like sweepstakes and stuff instead of cash. But anyways, the right site is just go here (click here), it's the one I am making $700 a week with putting in like 23 hours a week, sometimes up to like 30 hours if I'm daydreaming. After you get your membership make sure you sign up with the companies on page one in the members section because they are the ones that pay you the most, I got $75 for one that took me 25 minutes today. You'll see what I'm talking about when you get in there.Jackie started taking them too and she's making $800 a week, it's making me so mad because I'm the one that showed her which one to sign up with now she's making more than me.Alright well me and Jak are getting ready to leave now, just give me a call or I'll catch you on here and let me know if you have any problems with your membership.
