About IMPERIUM

Imperium is a morrocan thrash metal band formed in 2004 by Ash guitarist who was looking for other musicians to playsome heavy metal covers.After a few days he met with karim,a guitarist who likes the same bands,so the two guitarists started to play together and it was a good chimistry between them... After that ,a special member and the hardest one to find joined the band,the drummer.He joined karim and ash for a jam,and after playing a couple of Metallica songs and Maiden he decided to join the band.finally,the last member was jihad the bass guitar player.Originaly he was playing guitar in a music school and a big heavy metal banger,so he switched to bass and join the gang. The band started to compose some songs and did their first live show at club okaz,this is where the band appears for the first time under the name of IMPERIUM,then they performed on sidi rock fest and some other local gigs...and the most important live of the band was in casablanca at the morrocan metal gig edition wich was a success for the band. On summer 2006 the band was booked for a little tour date wich began in meknes city,then in rabat city and casablanca city again. after they recorded a very raw version of Their first demo Morbid ending.Ash decided for personal reasons to move to canada,but the band did'nt suffer from this. Ash is playing with a death metal band in quebec,But he is still composing with imperium as a total actif member and will come this summer for some gigs in Morocco, but in the november 2007 ash left the band definetly for some disagrement but the band is still active to kick more asses
