My name is Imee. I’m 21 years old and I just graduated with a degree of Journalism in college. BUT! I really would rather be a musician. I’ve been performing on stage since I was about 5, and I picked up the guitar at age 9. By the time I was 15, I began writing songs. Most of the first few I’ve written, I consider as crap. Haha, just kidding. I would safely say that my more recent ones have more passion in them though. I also had experience of singing on the radio nationwide for 3 weekends. That was fun… *sigh* My music has been described as similar to the likes of Michelle Branch, Avril Lavigne, Katy Rose, and even Evanescence (lyric-wise, that is). My voice, however, is said to be distinct; I’ve been told that when you hear it, you’ll know it was my voice & not like I was trying to immitate someone else’s. Yay, flattery. Hmm I don’t know what else to say…
