About me: Back in the day (February 2004 - June 2007) I was an on-air personality/DJ @ KNON 89.3 FM here in Dallas, TX on Sunday nights/Monday mornings 12-4 am - show was called Rampage Radio (punk, metal, psychobilly, etc.), and I was a research/productions assistant on Empowerment Radio - the Monday morning line talk show, hosted by Tunde Obazee. I was on his crew for the last few months I was there. I left to pursue other things, mostly loafing, lazing, sleeping, gaming, herpetology (study of reptiles, duh!), and cooking pizza. Now I mostly just work, watch soaps & MXC on the DVR, and cook pizza.
Oh, and I'm a techie.
I've been a Lordz (Lordz of Brooklyn, etc.) fan for years. Sure, I like metal and punk and all that good stuff, but I also love something with groovin' soul. Check it out. I think you'll hear some familiar voices. They did Outlaw with Tim from Rancid. They've done some stuff with Everlast and so many other awesome, talented bands and artists. Check it out. Broaden your horizons. Ya might learn something...or better yet, you might find you like it.
