I’ll Be John Brown is a 5-piece alt-Country locomotive mixing Bluegrass, Outlaw Country, and good ol’ fashioned Rock and Roll to create their own driving sound built on airtight rhythms and layered vocal harmony.
Established in Brooklyn in 2005, their flare for performance has elevated them within the Brooklyn country scene as well as up and down the east coast. With influences ranging from Waylon, Wilco, Hank, Dylan, and the Allmans, they turn up the volume and tempo on traditional Americana.
