| About IF PAIGE WINS |
In 2005 If Paige Wins was formed in Buffalo, NY by a coincidence of musical destiny. Childhood friends Michelle O'Neil and Danny Gugino played together in the past. They wanted to form a band, but hadn't found anyone with a compatible sound. As luck would have it, Lauren Clifford, an experienced songwriter and musician, was also searching for a new channel in which to express her music. Lauren and Michelle worked together and were introduced by a mutual friend. After listening to Lauren solo demo, the three met and clicked both musically and personally. The rock trio of If Paige Wins was formed. Their unique sound is possible through the combination of their individual musical talents combined with Lauren's expressive lyrics.
If Paige Wins has been busy writing music and performing at multiple venues in the Western New York area since late 2005. In mid 2007, the band finished recording their first full length CD entitled Watered Down Confessions. The CD was produced at Garden Studios in Lockport, NY. They are currently working on songs for their second album, due to be our in 2008. They've been interviewed by several radio stations and have recieved incredible positive feedback and reviews in several magazines and newspapers. With their different style of rock, their fan base continues to grow.
The band is excited about their future. In addition to completing their second CD, they intend on touring and getting their sound out in as many cities as possible. They are eager to share their passion, and genuinely enjoy playing for live crowds as well as working in the studio. If Paige Wins looks forward to having their fans enjoy their music as much as they love making it.
