How good is "Army Dreamers" ?? You picked what could well be my fave KB song (and the clip is tops...she's such a clever girl). The overlapping male vocals in the chorus, the 'cocked gun' sample (kate was one of the first artists to get into the Fairlight computer sampling...cutting edge at the time), and the eastern string instrument...can't remember what it's called, her bro played it.
Just to say that I love them sounds (and it's awesome to hear the Pikelet and Zeals tunes remixed). I'm Hobart-side (although have had the pleasure of playin w/ Zeal Adelaide way before), but am coming to Melbourne in September for gigs. I will most definately pick up your record if possible and also Mountains in the Sky. Our band (called I Built a Flying Machine but looking for a new name) is playing the Empress on Friday September the 5th if you happen to live near there or like cellos, french horns, accordions and pop stuff or the bands we are playing with (Transcendental Music Band and Peter Head). And anyhow if we could pay you in cake to remix one of our songs how much cake would it take? Oh also you should come and play in Hobart sometime? maybe even when Zeal comes down later in the year? yes?

is it that free online movie about the myth of religion, 911 conspiracies, and the american central bank system?..... i watched that just the other day actually...its pretty interesting but they use the word zeitgeist in a strange way ( well i guess they mean the media constructs a zeitgeist for people to follow but still i think its a strange usage of the term) anyway bla bla......unfortunately alf costume photo is not mine i found it on the interweb so you can use it as you please.
