Feather Duster is an alternative to the throwaway fashion trend. We invite people to clean out their closets and bring all those items that just don’t fit or the impulse buys that never get worn and just take up space in your closet to swap for something new to you. The events encourage recycling and refashioning and offer a tangible alternative to selling your clothes on eBay and provide the opportunity to walk away with a whole new wardrobe. The events are full of energy and interesting new people, plus everything left over at the end of the day is donated to charity, which saves you that trip to the charity shop!
Anything you think somebody else might love, tragic shopping mistakes, too big, too small, once loved or never worn trousers, dresses, skirts, tee-shirts, shoes, bags, sweaters, swimwear and accessories. If you can wear it and it’s in good condition, bring it!… Please don’t bring things you can’t wear, or any old pants.
Once inside the swap anything goes, you really can take home whatever you like - just no fighting!!

The clothes swap last week was so much fun! I got a gorgeous pair of black, suede shoe boots, a cute skirt, belt, a few tops....the list goes on!
It was so nice to shop in such a beautiful, boutique-style setting too and really added a fabulous air of glamour to recycled-clothes shopping. If everybody could experience that, I think they'd never consider shopping on the high street again! Primark don't sell homemade cupcakes, do they?!!
