Today is Tajae's picture Day. Such a charming lil man, reminds me so much of u. I dont have to come to ya site to talk to u and post messages to keep u alive within us or prove ANYTHING!. Merry Christmas. Right now, Omar and I are supposed to be in Houston, TX. We'd talked about it when he got back from Thanksgiving in the H, and we said we'd take a trip down to see the fam for the holidays... My head was filled with images of ripping and rolling around Houston like we did before, when I met everyone, images of Maw V giving Djemila a kiss again, kicking it with my best friend, O. Instead I'm here in Colorado, crying and screaming to myself in the shower, in bed at night (where he used to sleep right beside me), and anywhere else I go that reminds me of him (which is everywhere in the world). Like I said, all these presents don't mean shit. Take it all back, just give me my baby. Worse yet, I feel as though life is just continuing on like it always does, the sun continues to rise and fall everyday, as though nothing is missing. I walk around just going through the motions, screaming out loud, "why hasn't he called me yet?!" like I just don't understand that it's never going to be him on the other end of the line again. I know I keep on leaving notes, but this site is really the only place I feel close to him anymore. Djemila started to say "dad" the day after everything went down, and she looks at every black man with intense curiosity, like, "is that O?" I swear, he was my little girl's homie.
